Barkha Ajmani, MPT
Barkha was born and raised in India and completed her Master’s Degree in Orthopedics Physical Therapy from Rajiv Gandhi University in Manglore, India in 2004.
Both of Barkha’s parents are physicians and helped to influence her approach to therapy by way of teaching her that diligent work and strong ethics make a good practitioner. While Barkha has always been interested in Science, she especially enjoys people and uses all of her skills to enhance rehabilitation. When in school, she treated a post-surgical knee patient and was inspired by the healing process and the certainty that therapy works.
Barkha joined Omega Sports Rehab in Jan 2011 and loved treating patients on land and in the water. Barkha especially likes a personal one-on-one treatment session to ensure that she gets to know her patients. She is a manual based Physical Therapist. The time she spends with her patients allows her to understand the quality of life in the patient. The healing process of therapy comes not only from exercise but also from analysis of the home, work, and recreational environment.
Barkha enjoys playing with her 2 daughters and going out for walks with them. She also loves spending time with her family and cooking in her spare time.
Ayesha Sulemani, DPT
Ayesha did her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Manipal University, India in 2005. She got married in 2006 and moved to California. Since then she has been working in an out-patient setting as a licensed Physical Therapist. She completed her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy in A.T. Sill University in Mesa, AZ in 2014.
She loves to work with her patients and feels blessed to help clients in need. She joined Omega in 2014 and is a manual based Physical Therapist. Her curiosity for Physical Therapy has not yet been satisfied as she helps patients from various age groups and injuries with success.
She has been blessed with 2 wonderful children. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors, with her family. Ayesha is a runner and does yoga to relieve her stress. She also likes to ride her bicycle and go for hikes with her family. She loves to cook.
Benjamin Davis
Ben is from Syracuse, NY where he earned his PT Assistant degree. After graduation he moved to California to continue his career and enjoy the weather. He has experience in out-patient land based and Aquatic Physical Therapy as well as in a skilled nursing facility.
Ben likes working in the water at the San Jose location because he gets a front row seat watching patients get better and feel better every day. He especially loves learning new skills and therapy strategies for both aquatic and land based physical therapy.
Ben enjoys the outdoors and loves exercise.
